Established in 1981 by Joseph and Sandra Ginn, Northern Essex LTD has grown significantly from its backyard beginnings of a single dump truck and backhoe. Founded on the basic principles of customer satisfaction and quality service. Northern Essex LTD have been able to establish ourselves as a leader in the excavation field. Our business was started with innovations from Joe’s years of experience at a large Cambridge based firm. . As the company reputation grew, so did the size of the projects which we pursued. Northern Essex LTD has performed jobs from the referrals of repeat clients to sub-contracts of general contractors. Work performance includes but not limited to; excavation of single home sites to ten lot subdivisions , single home water service repair to 20” water main replacement, landscape of property line stone walls to installation of concrete retaining walls, and septic system repair to mainline sewer projects to name a few. Along with capital growth we have maintained the ability to grow with technology and safety.
